  is required, I will then  present actual cases from various industrial
  sectors where CFD has been gainfully applied.

  <i>
   Mr. Kamlesh Pande is presently the Vice President (R&amp;D and Innovation)
   at Thermax  Ltd, Pune.  Prior to  that, he was the  Head of Technology
   Management  at  Mahindra  and  Mahindra.   He  has  also  held  senior
   positions  with Forbes  Marshall, Tata  Energy, BHEL,  Tata Consulting
   Engineers  and  MECON.   His   areas  of  specialisation  are  Thermal
   Engineering,  Energy  Management,  Numerical Modelling,  Computational
   Fluid   Dynamics,   Technology   Management,   Knowledge   Management,
   Innovation, Intellectual  Property Rights, Collaborative  Research and
   Industry&ndash;Institute  Interaction.  He  has several  years  of hands-on
   experience   on  numerical   modelling   in  wide-ranging   industrial
   applications.  Mr. Pande holds an M.  Tech. in  Mechanical Engineering
   from IIT Mumbai.
