2011-13: Research Assistant (CMS, UoP); worked on library management & examination automation software, practicals & lectures conducted at CMS and Electronic Science Department, UoP; system administration for linux supercomputing clusters. Currently working as Sr System Analyst (Technical Lead); payment industry and related security (payload encryption, p2pe, ssl, AES256, RSA etc); handling point-of-sale and credit card terminal projects.

Honours and Achievements
Worked in C-DAC. Worked in ICERTIS-Microsoft - Got A Best Team Member Award for Quarter.

Curricula and teaching programmes

• It's a high quality education with a great degree 'M.Tech.' with reputed Pune University.
• The subjects, syllabus is very rich and recent. Experts from industry (Persistent, InfoSys, Cognizant, etc.) or reputed institutes (C-DAC, NCL, DIAT, IIT, NCRA, etc.) are invited to teach. Also, in house faculty is expert.
• The Programme fits for research career, industrial carrier (IT, mechanical, etc.), teaching, and for further Ph.D. study.
• Subjects like CFD, computational science (biology, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, computer science, machine learning, robotics, GIS, simulation, etc.) are presented in M&S perspective.
• Not just for industrial career but also for day to day life the syllabus is helpful

Teachers

• In-house faculty is expert and always co-operative for study-seekers.
• The teacher's assistance is available for students on weekends and holidays.

Overall experience

• CMS experience was great. Work environment is very healthy. People are very co-operative.

Impact on career and growth

Yes, my post-CMS career and growth is influenced by CMS. The study at CMS has made me an expert computer programmer. My project in image processing for barcode reading shortlisted me for an industry job.

Advice for current and future students

You are at the right place if you are a study-seeker. Take advantage of the highly expert teachers, computational power, supercomputing clusters & the excellent library. Obviously, your future will be bright.

Which direction should CMS grow in?

• The intake capacity should be increased.
• Sustained and stable faculty and staff
• Need more equipped lab.
• Grow books yearly.
• The fees must be economical.

• Highly equipped Lab.
• High computational power (supercomputing clusters) at CMS.
• Labs are available on holidays, weekends and after office hours.
• Library has large number of books with costly books available for students.
