Association with CMS
M.Tech. Programme in Modeling and Simulation

Epoch of Association
2013-2015

Pre-CMS Education, Occupation, Field
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Post-CMS Education, Occupation, Field
Field of work: Vehicle Crash Simulation. Current Occupation: Senior Analyst.

Curricula and teaching programmes

Overall course structure is good. But what I believe is that the subject called "technical writing" needs to be in first semester and in second semester. The subject called "overview of modeling and simulation" should be replaced by 5 credit Elective 2. This Elective 2 should also continue in third semester.

Impact on career and growth

Yes! I got very good salary hike while switching to new company. HR of the new company considered this M.Tech. degree.

Advice for current and future students

For future students, I will advice that if you love mathematics and computer programming, then only you opt this course.

Which direction should CMS grow in?

CMS only offers M.Tech. in Modeling and Simulation. CMS should offer multiple Masters degree courses which could be on Computational Mechanics, High-Performance-Computing, Computational Biology, etc. etc.
