Qualifications

For Research Associate: Minimum qualifications: Ph.D in Physics/Chemistry/Biophysics/Bioinformatics/Chemical or Material Engineering sciences with inclination to work in the computational Biology. Desirables: Working experience in ab initio molecular simulations&/Density Functional Theory. Experience in application of molecular simulation to biological molecules, multi-scale modeling, development of force field applied in simulations.

For Junior Research Fellow: Minimum qualifications: M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/Chemical or Material Engineering sciences, scoring a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates appearing for M.Sc. this year are eligible to apply. Desirables: Working experience related to molecular simulations and inclination towards Bioinformatics.

Additional Information

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate (RA) (1 post) and/or Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (1 post) in Bioinformatics Center, Savitribai Phule Pune University. The positions are funded by IBM, Life sciences, India, for a duration of 1 year.
