Applications are invited for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and one post of Research Associate (RA).

Emoluments

As per standard (UGC/CSIR) norms.

Eligibility and Necessary Qualification

• SRF: Masters in Science, with strong and proven expertise and research experience in math- ematical modeling and computing (such as, but not limited to: programming in C, Python, numerical computing, simulation methods, etc.).
• RA: Ph.D. with strong and proven expertise and research experience in modeling and simulation, especially in the area of computational materials science.

How to Apply

Plain-paper application, including a cover letter and a resume'/CV should reach the Centre's office within 7 days of the date of this advertisement as hardcopy or via email to office AT cms.unipune.ac.in.

Resume' should include, in the least: full name, contact information (address, email, and a phone number if available), date of birth, educational qualification, and relevant experience.

Do not send documents/attachments in MS Word format. Please send PDF or PS documents to ensure complete portability and readability on Linux systems. An application is likely to be rejected if we cannot read/print it properly in a typical Linux environment.

Selection

Candidates found suitable in preliminary screening will be notified via email, and will be requested to appear for an interview at their own expense (date will be announced in the email). No separate interview call letter will be sent. The selected candidates are expected to join within one month of the date of the offer letter.
