Applications are invited for one Research Associate (RA) position at the Centre.
Duration of the Position
Till March 31, 2010.
Emoluments
As per standard (UGC/CSIR) norms and guidelines.
Eligibility and Necessary Qualification
Ph.D. in Computational Physics/Computational Chemistry/Computational Material Science,
post-doctoral and teaching experience, and
evidence (in the form of publications) of quality research work.
Desirable: Experience in high-performance computing.

as hardcopy or via email to office AT cms.unipune.ac.in.
Resume' should include, in the least: full name, contact information
(address, email, and a phone number if available), date of birth,
educational qualification, and relevant experience.
Cover letter should emphasize the relevance of your background, qualification, training, and
experience for the post of interest, especially with reference to the preferred qualification above.
Do not send documents/attachments in MS Word format.
Please send PDF or PS documents to ensure complete portability and readability on
Linux systems.
An application is likely to be rejected if we cannot
read/print it properly in a typical Linux environment.
Selection
Candidates found suitable in preliminary screening will be notified
via email, and will be requested to appear for an interview at their
own expense (date will be announced in the email). No separate
interview call letter will be sent. The selected candidate is
expected to join within one week of the date of the offer letter.
