RA Position at the Centre

Applications are invited for one Research Associate (RA) position at the Centre.

Duration of the Position

Till March 31, 2010.

Emoluments

Rs. 16,000 to 20,000 + HRA depending upon qualification+experience of the candidate, and selection committee's recommendation.

Eligibility and Necessary Qualification

M.C.S./M.Sc.(Computer Science). At least 7 years of experience in managing and maintaining high-performance computing facilities, extensive experience on network management with linux, and hands on experience in Grid Computing. The candidate is expected to take charge of the high-performance computing facilities managed and maintained by the Centre, and also teach relevant courses at M.Tech. level at the Centre.

Cover letter should emphasize the relevance of your background, qualiﬁcation, training, and experience for the post of interest, especially with reference to the preferred qualiﬁcation above.

Selection

Candidates found suitable in preliminary screening will be notified via email, and will be requested to appear for an interview at their own expense (date will be announced in the email). No separate interview call letter will be sent. The selected candidate is expected to join within one week of the date of the offer letter.
