Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow and/or Research Associate to work on the project sanctioned under EU-IndiaGrid2 project (PI: Professor D.G. Kanhere). The position could be filled as part or full time for Research associate.
Duration of the Position
Till 31/01/2011
Emoluments
Junior Research Fellow: as per UGC norms for a full-time position
Research Associate: part-time; Rs. 6000-10000 depending upon experience after Ph.D.
Eligibility and Necessary Qualification
JRF: Post-graduate degree in Physics/Computer Science/Electronics/Modeling and Simulation + good experience in grid computing.
RA (Part Time): Ph.D. in Computational Material Science/Condensed Matter Physics,
with specialization in Electronic Structure/Density Functional Theory applications.
