Applications are invited for two posts of Research Associate at the Centre for Modeling and Simulation, Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Duration of the Position
About two years.
Emoluments
Rs. 20000 PM fixed.
Eligibility and Necessary Qualification
Masters degree in Computer Science/Physics/Electronics/Scientific
Computing with at least 5 years of experience in managing and maintaining
High Performance Computing facility, Extensive experience on network
management, PHP Scripting, Linux Operating System. In exceptional cases,
an undergraduate degree with at least 10 years of experience in System
Administration, Grid Computing (within India or abroad), Cluster Building,
Porting/Installation of applications softwares may be considered. The
candidate is expected to take care of High Performance Computing
facilities at the Centre and teach relevant laboratory courses at M.Tech.
level in the Department.

Selection
Candidates found suitable in preliminary screening will be notified via
email, and will be requested to appear for an interview at their own
expense (date will be announced in the email). No separate interview call
letter will be sent. The selected candidate is expected to join within one
week of the date of the offer letter.
