JRF/SRF/RA Positions at the Centre

Applications are invited for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under CMS Manpower and one post of Research Assistant (RA) under DST PURSE Phase II at the Centre for Modeling and Simulation, Savitribai Phule Pune University:

Research Associate (RA)	1	Ph.D. in Physics/Computer Science/Statistics. Desirable experience in system administration, at-least two publications in SCI journals. OR M.Phil./M.Sc. in Physics/Computer Science/Statistics with minimum 3 years of research experience and two publications in SCI journals.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)	1 reserved (ST)	M.Sc. in Physics/Computer Science/Statistics with minimum 5 years of research experience and some teaching experience OR M.Phil. with minimum 3 years of research experience. SRFs will have to co-ordinate laboratory sessions for the students and help in maintaining the computing facilities at the Centre. Experience of programming, system administration is therefore desirable.

For post under CMS Manpower, till Tuesday, 31 March 2015
For post under DST PURSE Phase II, till Saturday, 31 March 2018

Emoluments

Research Associate: 20000/-
Senior Research Fellow: 18000/- + HRA @ 20%

Selection

Candidates found suitable in preliminary screening will be notified via email, and will be requested to appear for an interview at their own expense. No separate interview call letter will be sent. Selected candidates are expected to join within one week of the date of the offer letter.
