Speaker	Ajay V. Deshmukh, Principal, Shri Someshwar Engineering College, Baramati Dr. Ajay Deshmukh is Principal of Shri Someshwar Shikshan Prasark Mandal's, Someshwar Engineering College, Baramati. He is Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, M.E. Instrumentation Engineering and B.E. Instrumentation Engineering.

Abstract	A journey from math to industry applications follows many intermediate topics. However when things work in industry, this picture is clear. This has become even easier, due to the availability of computational tools, techniques and software/hardware platforms. Today one can think of implementing any advanced mathematical formula or algorithm. Applications of mathematics in diversified fields are therefore to be investigated in a different way. Considering this potential, a special lecture is planned to cover some of the industry applications of mathematics. This lecture on ‘Industrial Applications of Mathematics’ is based on some of the industry applications, where the speaker has contributed either for design, development or training. The lecture would be of interest to master’s and Ph.D. scholars of Universities/institutions and even for senior researchers and academicians, who would like to explore applied mathematics and deliver certain things to industry.
