Applications are invited for TWO posts of Project Assistants (PA) (1 Open, 1 SC)
at the Centre for
Modeling and Simulation, Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Project Assistant (Open)
Perform state-of-the-art time-dependent density functional simulations on molecules to understand the mechanism of charge transfer.

Masters degree in Physics with strong background of quantum mechanics and computational physics. Final year students may apply.
Project Assistant (SC)
Perform Particle-in-cell (PIC) type simulation for charge particle under extreme magnetic field.

M.Sc in Physics/MTech in Modeling & Simulation/Msc. Scientific Computing with strong background in electrodynamics, numerical solutions to differential equations with proficiency in any scientific computing language (C/FORTRAN/Python). Final year students may apply.
Emoluments per month
- Rs. 15,000/- per month consolidate.

Selection
Candidates found suitable in preliminary screening will be notified
via email, and will be requested to appear for an interview at their
own expense.
